Seen
Seen is a performative installation consisting of three screens in a triangular configuration. The installation runs over three weeks, punctuated by performances within it; each week will be focused on one aspect of the core question:
how essential are we?
In a world in which we we’re spoken to as a general public and not individuals, to what extent does our opinion, and furthermore, our presence matter?
The screens will consist of a multi-channel video tackling these questions from three angles—our social environment, our media environment, and our physical environment, specifically, the very space in which the exhibition takes place.
On each Saturday of the three-week run, there will be a live performance in which a body confronts both these screens and the audience.
